Life Transforms, we serve

Dreaming & learning about Transformation

Dream insights & high-level reflections - I am in a forum / assembly with others next to Otto Scharmer, I begin to talk … what follows are key reflections & messages recollecting afterwards, and elaborating on my speech

Are We transforming or is it rather Life transforming us and the context around?

  • By entering, acknowledging, accepting whatever is in front of us, something transforms in our relationship and reality we are being with, and new possibilities become possible and real.
  • How we enter that space matters - how are we being inside when approaching that space matters.
  • Are we coming with a manipulative mindset and intention?
    - Wanting to change, shape what’s in front of us, as not wanting to accept it?
    - Or are we willing to see and embrace it, and as a result let it first transform something in us, and then let it transform into a new reality?

Is Transformation a goal or a result ?

  • In these times, and particularly in the western world, we tend to see transformation as a prerogative of man (as the Homo Faber, we could say), rather than a intrinsic quality of life at large .
  • Taken to the extreme, sometimes that belief implies we humans have the power to transform Life - we believe we are a species called to control, as to exercise control, dominating over other / sentient beings and over Nature and Mother Earth.
  • What if the opposite were true?
  • … and what if we can transform ourself, as much as we co-participate in that (life-led) transforming act, with our full being awareness?

Who are we being inside when co-participating in any transforming act?
Are we being Love or are we being Fear (as absence of Love)?

  • Are we contributing to a love-sourced transformation or a fear-sourced transformation, in other words is it Peace or is it War?
  • and when we think that it is Love, is what we project really coming from a place of Love or Fear?
  • In caring for one another, for our neighbor, our children and beloved, are we letting Love be the source of Actions, the actor and driving force or fear? …the fear ultimately of not be Love-d?
  • Are we teaching, preaching, and protecting the other, because we fear something may happen or because we trust life and love whatever happens?

(the image that comes to awareness is of a parent orienting / influencing a child’s studies / choices, for fear he might not succeed in life, as missing external success)
Love is about embracing, accepting who we are, and what is in this very moment in front of us. And in that act something transforms, we and others transform and Life heals, and transforms what’s in front of us.

To Love is to let Life Transform. Our eagerness to transform does not always equal Love - something is needed inside
