BIO Nitamo Montecucco

Dr. Nitamo Federico Montecucco is a physician, neuroscience researcher, and internationally recognized expert in psychosomatics. He is President of the Istituto di Psicosomatica Integrata (IUP) and of the Global Village APS in Bagni di Lucca, Italy. His academic career includes teaching Psychosomatic Medicine and Neuropsychology in postgraduate programs at the University of Milan, Sapienza University of Rome, the University of Pisa, and several other prominent institutions.

He spent three years in India and Nepal studying sacred medicine and meditation, and another three years in the U.S. advancing his research in neuroscience, psychosomatics, and group therapy. His studies on brain coherence (EEG) have contributed to a better understanding of mind-body integration.

Dr. Montecucco is the creator of the Psychosomatic Mindfulness Protocol and the Neuro-Personality Map, and the author of the Gaia Project Protocol—a national education program in awareness and global health. The Gaia Project has been funded multiple times by the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, accredited by the Ministry of Education (MIUR), and supported by the UNESCO Club of Lucca.

He has published extensively in both academic and public platforms and is a passionate advocate for holistic approaches to individual and societal well-being.
