BIO Junko Nagao

Junko is the producer of the podcasts Return to Wonder and Ceremonies of Space, and the founder of Heart of New Earth (HNE), a leadership and management consultancy focused on education, regenerative systems, and organizational transformation. With over 20 years of international experience in leadership, fundraising, and systems development, she has supported initiatives across blockchain, education and financial technology, energy, anti-trafficking, workforce development, and global peace and security.

A strategic and spiritual catalyst, Junko guides leaders to align inner development with organizational and societal change. Her work supports detoxifying and decolonizing systems, improving embodied communication, and designing future-forward infrastructures and cultures. She collaborates with individuals and teams to foster deep listening, resilient structures, and nature-connected decision-making.

Junko is also a passionate cross-pollinator of networks, ideas, and ecosystems—transforming homes and workspaces into thriving, plant-rich environments. She received her M.Ed. from Harvard University and her B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University.
