BIO John Samuel

John Samuel is a distinguished leader and transformational strategist who served in senior positions within the Government of India, where he played a pivotal role in modernizing public systems. Most notably, he is recognized as the architect of Speed Post, having built and transformed the service since its inception in 1986. As Chief Postmaster General and Member of the Postal Services Board, he introduced groundbreaking reforms that reshaped India’s postal infrastructure.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, John has served as a consultant for the Universal Postal Union (a UN agency) and spent five years in a leadership role with an international organization in Thailand, overseeing operations across 30+ Asia-Pacific countries.

Currently, he leads Transform Consulting, offering business consulting, leadership development, financial strategy, and government relations to corporates. He is a sought-after trainer, speaker, coach, and consultant, and serves on the Board of ESAF Small Finance Bank.

Through his “Noble Leaders, Notion Nation” initiative, he mentors aspiring civil servants free of charge, fostering a new generation of ethical public leaders.
