HH Khedrupchen Rinpoche Wisdom Keeper | Teacher | Visionary

Khedrup Rinpoche, is a Bhutanese Buddhist teacher and lineage holder recognized as the reincarnation of Kyabgon Monla Khedrup Jigme Kundrol—a principal student of the 18th-century Tibetan master Jigme Lingpa. Born in Eastern Bhutan in 1990, Rinpoche began his monastic training at age 13 and later studied at Mindrolling Monastic College in India, graduating with an Acharya degree in Buddhist philosophy. He went on to serve as a teacher at the college and studied under eminent masters across Tibetan Buddhist traditions.

Khedrupchen is the Founder and President of the Khedrup Foundation, and serves as Supreme Head of the 1,200-year-old Rephel Mebar Lhakhang temple. He also founded the Sangchen Ogyen Tsuklag Monastery in Trongsa and the Phajo Gonpa Gomde retreat center in Samdrup Jongkhar, Eastern Bhutan.

In addition to his spiritual leadership, Rinpoche is committed to social action. He launched Siddhartha’s Wisdom Club to teach youth inner and environmental harmony, and the Ami-Deva Association to support elder citizens in cultivating meditation and spiritual connection. His humanitarian work includes healthcare, education, and emergency aid throughout Bhutan.

Internationally, Rinpoche teaches meditation, Vajrayana Buddhism, and the integration of Buddhist principles with modern technology and psychology. He has shared teachings at leading institutions, including Stanford University and the University of Pennsylvania. Through his compassionate vision and skillful means, Rinpoche continues to adapt the Dharma to a modern global context.
