BIO Elisabet Sahtouris

Dr. Elisabet Sahtouris is an internationally acclaimed evolution biologist, futurist, author, and sustainability consultant. With a PhD from Dalhousie University and post-doctoral work at the American Museum of Natural History, she bridges science, culture, and business through her deep understanding of living systems. Her work focuses on applying biological principles to organizational design and sustainable development worldwide.

She is the author of EarthDance: Living Systems in Evolution, A Walk Through Time: from Stardust to Us, and Gaia’s Dance: The Story of Earth & Us, and co-author of Biology Revisioned with Willis Harman. As a dynamic speaker and media guest, she has presented on all continents and has appeared in documentary films such as Occupy Love, I Am, Femme, and Love Thy Nature.

Dr. Sahtouris has served as an advisor to EthicalMarkets.com and Schumacher College and taught in the sustainable business MBA programs of Bainbridge Graduate Institute and Chaminade University in Honolulu, where she is currently Professor in Residence. She also co-convened two international symposia on the foundations of science.
