Bhola Nath Banstola
Teacher | Healer | Bridge
Bhola Nath Banstola is a Nepalese Jhankri shaman, initiated at a young age by his grandfather into a lineage of over 27 generations. Born in the Bhojpur district near Mount Everest, Bhola has devoted his life to preserving and sharing the sacred traditions of Himalayan shamanism.
A graduate in cultural anthropology and naturopathy, he bridges ancient indigenous knowledge with modern awareness. Through decades of study and experience, Bhola has combined traditional healing practices with herbal medicine, breathwork, spiritual rituals, and community education. He speaks fluent English and travels the world teaching workshops, leading pilgrimages, and guiding experiential journeys in Nepal, India, Bhutan, Tibet, and beyond.
Bhola is the founder and head instructor of the Nepal Shaman Association and an active member of international ancestral wisdom circles. His unique gift lies in connecting people to nature, spirit, and the wisdom of the elders. Through his param-para work, he also supports access to education for underprivileged children in Nepal.
With his wife, Mariarosa Genitrini, he facilitates cultural and shamanic field studies and continues to embody the living tradition of the Himalayan shamans. Bhola’s teachings radiate clarity, love, and deep connection to spirit. His presence uplifts, heals, and inspires.
