BIO Julio Hey

Julio Hey is a Brazilian filmmaker, producer, and co-founder of Café Royal and Sementeira Creative Studio. His work sits at the intersection of cinema, spirituality, and socio-environmental transformation, focusing on stories that connect people, territories, and new possibilities for the future. He directed the feature documentaries Samadhi Road, From Love No One Escapes (Do Amor Ninguém Foge), and Radical Love, a film about the life and legacy of Satish Kumar. Julio is also one of the founders of the University of the Forest, an initiative dedicated to education, ecology, and regenerative futures. Through documentary filmmaking, strategic storytelling, and creative collaboration, he seeks to amplify narratives that inspire cultural change, ecological awareness, and deeper human connection.
