June Gorman is an international educator, thought leader, and advocate for transformative education. She is the co-founder of the Transformative Education Forum and serves as Education Chair for the United Nations Association of the United States. A passionate systems thinker, she also contributes as Board Project Director of Outreach for the International Model United Nations Association and is a key member of the Steering Committee for the United States Partnership for K–12 Education for Sustainability, supporting UNESCO’s Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.
June’s work centers on integrating emotional, social, and cultural intelligence into education systems. With a background in teaching and nonprofit leadership, she promotes curricula grounded in neuroscience, equity, and global citizenship. Her approach empowers students and educators to navigate and solve complex, interdisciplinary challenges at both community and global levels.
A passionate speaker and joyful learner, June believes education must cultivate not only intellect but also empathy, creativity, and intercultural collaboration. She continues to inspire educators, policy makers, and youth to harness the transformative power of learning to shape a just, sustainable future for all.
